Responsibility
• Designed full game concept/all mechanics for a 4-day game jam
• Designed full island town revolving around the player scaling up
• Programmed all game systems, player movement, AI, menus, etc.
• Set up all animations and transitions for the seagull and NPCs
• Integrated various randomized SFX and multiple music tracks
• Formed and lead a team having myself, 2 artists, and a composer
Additional Context
I finally had the time to commit to my first game jam! I initially wanted to solo develop for a few reasons, but I decided against it and the night before the jam,
I formed a team to fill the areas I'm weakest in (art and music). The 2024 GMTK jam's theme was "Built to Scale," and after a few hours of brainstorming, I designed
a game built off of a vague idea that I've had for a while. I was the only person in the Unity project, putting together the entirety of the game myself.
