Responsibility
• Designed a full game where you can only kill environmentally
• Designed a system utilizing ragdolls for combat with knockback
• Designed a system for permanent abilities with a unique shop
• Programmed everything from combat to AI to passive upgrades
• Designed an Arena map revolving around the pits for kills
• Populated the map with asset packs, ProBuilder, and terrain tool
Additional Context
I convinced my teacher to let me solo develop for a semester-long game project, and what you see was all done between 16 credits and a part time job! Knockout Arena is the combination
of two game ideas that I've had for a while, and it is proof of my game design and development skills. Through this project, I gained great experience with advanced ragdoll physics,
AI design and functionality, level design (I have made Portal 2 and Warcraft III maps before, but not Arena), systems design, and much more.
